"TRAIN UP A CHILD IN THE WAY HE SHOULD GO: AND WHEN HE IS OLD, HE WILL NOT DEPART FROM IT". ~Proverbs 22:6 Our Childrens' Ministry is growing in leaps and bounds, and every week we are seeing a number of new faces. What a blessing it is, to be able to bring these children to the knowledge of Jesus Christ!
 Our teacher base has grown from 3 at the beginning of 2005 to 6 starting the 3rd Term of 2005. God is continuing to bless our Sunday school, and we are expecting more growth towards the end of this year. We are constantly praying for more teachers and more children, and our prayers are being answered – PRAISE GOD!!
Our Childrens' Ministry runs during school times (9am Sunday mornings) and is closed over the school holidays, where the teachers take a well deserved break! Children’s Church—aged 3 years up to Grade 7.
In 2008, we are concentrating on the lessons around the Holy Spirit and Salvation and we are very excited about what this year will bring.
Class splits are as follows:
3 to 4 years old Genesis Group
5 years to Grade 1 Little Lambs Group
Grade 2 & 3 Kings Kids Group
Grade 4 & 5 Angels Group
Grade 6 & 7 Faithful Followers Group
We are also trying a new pilot class this year with a little people area for those children who are too big for the cry room, but are too little to sit without their Moms or Dads in the Genesis group. This area will be for parents to sit with their children in a comfortable environment.
Please may we ask the Congregation to pray for the Children’s Church and for those who are feeling like they are being led, to come forward and serve in the Children’s Church, by way of being a teacher or even a helper. - Nicole Impson ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
