"We can't help everyone, but everyone can help someone." ~ Dr Loretta Scott The ProNutro Collection - Barrie & Colleen Proctor purchase ProNutro which is donated to people suffering with Aids. Please support this wonderful and practical outreach programme by donating either ProNutro or money to purchase the ProNutro. Just to remind you all that envelopes are available on the table at the back of the church, should you wish to make a donation to this very worthy cause. Colleen and Barry Proctor take Pro Nutro to the AIDS Workshop in Berea Road on a regular basis. This food is very welcome for those families where Aids is a way of life.
------ The Soup Kitchen - We appeal to old and new soup-makers to please assist by bringing containers of frozen soup to the church. Feeding between 200-300 hungry homeless people per day requires a large amount of soup! Please contact Harry if you are able to assist. Harry and everybody at the soup kitchen would like to say a BIG thank you to everybody who responded to their plea. They really appreciate it. There are some more containers in the kitchen for those who would like to be part of this worthy cause. ------ Hospital and Sick Visiting - Housebound folk welcome visits. Please contact Rev. Heather Thompson on 205-7601 if you are able to assist, as this meaningful and simple act should not be left to just a few faithful people. ------ The Samaritan Fund - We have been able to supply monthly food parcels to needy members of our Church and we thank Pieter and Kathy Retief for buying, packing and distributing the parcels. Please contact Pieter or Kathy on 261-4056 if you are able to assist in any way. ------ Christmas Appeal Ladies from our Church will be taking small gift parcels to Dream Centre, a temporary residence in Pinetown for referred patients undergoing treatment at various hospitals. There is a need for toilet articles, packets of biscuits, dried fruit bars, fruit juices, small notepads and pens/pencils. Your kind contributions towards these gift parcels will be greatly appreciated.
----- If you are able to assist in any way, you can contact the church office on 031 201 6123. The above-mentioned outreach programmes are important and worthwhile supporting ... any and all assistance is appreciated, no matter how small.
