Our mission statement

To celebrate Gods presence amongst us in worship; bring all people into a relationship with Jesus Christ and membership of His church family; disciple believers into Christlike maturity, equip them for ministry in the church and empower them for their life of mission in the world.

Our statement of faith

In relation to what we believe, we have three key attitudes:

1) In essential beliefs – we have unity.
2) In non-essential beliefs – we have liberty.
3) In all our beliefs – we show love.

What we believe about God

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three personalities: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.

THE FATHER - The Bible reveals God as Father to the fatherless and the father of all believers now and eternally. Every believer is adopted by God and is His child now and for eternity. The believers relationship with God the Father is a personal and intimate one wherein we come to know him as Abba Father – Daddy – Our Father.

JESUS CHRIST- God The Son – Is co-equal with the Father, true God and true man. Having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose bodily from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven's glory where at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He now is our High Priest, mediator and advocate. He will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.

THE HOLY SPIRIT - Is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the believer with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer a spiritual gift when they are saved. As believers we seek to live under His control daily.

What we believe, the Bible

The Bible both Old and New Testaments is God's Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of people, and the divine and final authority for all believers’ faith and life.

What we believe about human beings

People are made in the image of God, to be like Him in character. People are the supreme object of God's creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are sinful, separated from God, and therefore, lost. It is only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ, that salvation and spiritual life can be obtained.

What we believe about salvation

Salvation is God's free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting and believing in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness and through His shed blood and His resurrection, can anyone be saved from sin's penalty. When we turn away from our self-ruled life and turn to Jesus in faith, we are saved. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into their life and by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God.

We are to be mindful of the words of Christ when he says that He is the vine and every branch which does not bear fruit is broken off and cast into the fire.

What we believe about eternity

People were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin, or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally in union with Him is eternal life. Heaven and hell are real places of eternal existence.
